The payment system Payoneer has announced changes for users from Ukraine. Relevant notifications have already been sent to users of the service.
According to the new Ukrainian banking regulations, starting from January 27, 2025, users will no longer be able to withdraw funds to payment card numbers issued by Ukrainian banks. Therefore, it is necessary to update your payment details in the Payoneer account settings.
"To avoid any interruptions in withdrawals, please update your bank details in your Payoneer account as soon as possible according to the IBAN (International Bank Account Number) standard."
It is important to note that bank cards already have an IBAN account number, so there is no need to open a new account. You just need to enter the IBAN number of your existing account. It consists of 29 digits and letters, starting with "UA".
Example: UAYYZZZZZZ0000026001234567891
You can find your IBAN number through your bank’s mobile app, online banking portal, or customer support.
